Our Local Ambassadors are Franklin County residents who have volunteered to share their perspective and experience. They are not real estate agents or relocation consultants. They are people who live here and are open to having an honest conversation about what life in Franklin County looks like for them.

Leon Berthiaume
Franklin County has been my home during my lifetime. I lived in Swanton and now call St. Albans home. Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in the St. Albans area and being part of the agricultural industry that has long been the backbone of our region and State.
I've also been honored to serve on a variety of community boards and nonprofit organizations, experiences that have shown me what makes Franklin County so special. We are a collaborative, caring community where neighbors support one another, businesses work together, and people step forward to make a difference.
True Franklin VT is about celebrating everything that makes our county unique—our farms and businesses, our natural beauty, our rich history, and, most importantly, the people who call this place home.
